Optimise the health of sun-kissed skin
It’s worth reminding ourselves that external protection, like sunblock and suntan lotion, is not our only option when it comes to summer skin support. Eating plenty of the right kinds of fruits and vegetables, especially those containing antioxidants like beta-carotene, may be one of the best ways to optimise the health of sun-kissed skin.
And because nature is clever, many of these foods grow – and glow! – in sunny yellow or orange shades. For example, carrot and squash: the main ingredients in our Sunshine fruit and vegetable crystals. The yellowish pigments of these plants are deposited in the epidermis and help to achieve a beautiful tan, not to mention maximising the overall health of your skin.
